Truth Baptist Church Ministries exists to glorify God by preaching the Gospel, making disciples, and strengthening Independent Baptist churches across Nigeria.

Serving in West Africa since 2007, Bro. Holmes founded Truth Baptist Church here in Nyanya-Abuja. He continues to labour in church planting, Providence Baptist Seminary, the prison ministry, and the conference and camp work that reaches churches right across Nigeria.
The Lang family serves alongside our church in Abuja, labouring in discipleship and youth ministry. Bro. Lang teaches at our national Soul-Winning & Leadership Conference and helps lead our youth conference work.
The Christiansen family serves the Lord in Nigeria in church planting and local church ministry, having returned to the field to continue the work God has given them among Nigerian believers.

What we hold to as an Independent Baptist church.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, preserved Word of God and our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in the Lord Jesus Christ alone — not by works, lest any man should boast.
We believe in clear, Christ-centred preaching of the Word that both instructs the mind and calls the heart to obedience.
We practise believer's baptism by immersion as a public confession of faith and obedience to the Lord's command.
We believe God works through the local church — independent, self-governing, and committed to the Great Commission.
We believe every church is called to carry the Gospel to its own city and to the ends of the earth, at home and abroad.
